This privacy policy explains what personal data Jazzer processes when you contact us, register as a candidate or use the website. It also explains why we need that information, who we may share it with, how long we keep it and what rights you have.

What personal data does Jazzer process?
The personal data Jazzer processes depends on how you interact with us.
Business and general enquiries
- your name and email address;
- your company or organisation, if you provide it;
- your phone number and job title, if you provide them;
- the content of your message and subsequent correspondence.
Candidate registrations
- your name and contact details;
- the country where you currently live;
- your languages, domain expertise, education and relevant work experience;
- your availability and other information you choose to provide in the form;
- your CV and the information included in it.
Jazzer does not ask for a copy of your identity document, national identification number, bank details or tax information through the candidate form. Please do not send this information to Jazzer voluntarily. If an AI platform or another organisation needs it for onboarding or contracting, provide it directly through that organisation's secure system.
Website and security data
When you use the website, technical data may be processed, such as your IP address, browser or device information and security signals. This information may be needed to operate the website, prevent misuse and protect forms against spam or automated submissions.
Why does Jazzer process personal data?
Jazzer only processes personal data for specific purposes and relies on an appropriate legal basis for each type of processing.
- Contact and business enquiries: to answer your question, discuss a potential assignment or take steps at your request towards a business agreement. Depending on the circumstances, this is based on steps taken before entering into a contract or Jazzer's legitimate interest in handling business communications.
- Candidate registration and matching: to review your profile and compare it with published requirements for relevant AI training projects. This is based on the legitimate interests of Jazzer and the candidate in handling a voluntary registration responsibly.
- Consent: when you expressly agree that Jazzer may keep your profile for future opportunities or share personal data directly with a specific third party. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
- Administration and legal obligations: to comply with tax, accounting or other statutory retention requirements.
- Security and spam prevention: to protect the website and forms against misuse, fraud and automated spam. This is based on Jazzer's legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and reliable.
How does Jazzer use candidate data?
Jazzer uses candidate data for pre-screening and matching against published project requirements. Registering with Jazzer is not an application for a job at Jazzer and does not guarantee a project, selection, rate or amount of work.
If your profile matches a relevant opportunity, Jazzer may send you the vacancy details and an official application or referral link. You then decide whether to apply directly to the platform or organisation. The platform or organisation makes its own decisions about selection, contracting, identity checks, payment and the terms of the work.
Jazzer does not automatically send your CV or profile to an AI platform or client. If Jazzer proposes sharing your personal data directly with a specific party, you will be told in advance and, where required, asked for your consent.
Who may Jazzer share personal data with?
Jazzer does not sell personal data. We may, however, use service providers that are needed to operate the website, forms, communications and candidate registration process.
- Google Forms and Google Drive: to receive and store candidate registrations and CV uploads.
- Hosting and email providers: to host the website, support its technical operation and handle communications.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: to protect forms and reduce automated abuse.
- Akismet / Automattic: for spam detection where this protection is used on a form.
- AI platforms, clients or other organisations: only where this is necessary for an introduction or application route you want to pursue and there is a lawful basis for sharing the data.
- Public authorities or other authorised parties: where Jazzer is legally required to disclose information.
If you choose to apply through a referral link, the relevant platform may record that your application was referred by Jazzer. From that point, the platform processes your application under its own privacy notice.
Is personal data processed outside the EEA?
Some service providers may process personal data in countries outside the European Economic Area. Where there is no European Commission adequacy decision for the relevant country, Jazzer or the service provider uses appropriate safeguards where required by law, such as standard contractual clauses.
The exact processing location and safeguards depend on the service provider and its current technical and contractual arrangements.
How long does Jazzer keep personal data?
Jazzer does not keep personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a legal obligation requires a longer retention period.

Jazzer only uses the distinction between short-term candidate retention and retention for up to 12 months where the choice presented in the registration form clearly supports that distinction.
How does Jazzer protect personal data?
Jazzer takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and other unlawful use. Access is limited to people and service providers that need the information for their work.
No method of digital storage or communication can guarantee absolute security. If a security incident occurs despite these measures, Jazzer handles it in line with the applicable legal requirements.
What privacy rights do you have?
If Jazzer processes your personal data, you may be able to exercise the following rights under the GDPR, depending on the circumstances.
- access to the personal data Jazzer processes about you;
- correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- deletion where there is a valid legal basis for erasure;
- restriction of processing;
- objection to processing based on legitimate interests;
- data portability where that right applies;
- withdrawal of consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
You can send a request to connect@jazzer.nl. Jazzer normally responds within one month. If a request is complex or several requests are being handled at the same time, the statutory period may be extended. You will be informed if that happens.
Does Jazzer use automated decision-making?
Jazzer does not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects solely through automated processing. Candidate profiles may be compared with published project requirements, but Jazzer does not decide on behalf of an AI platform or client who is selected.
